Well, what if I told you that you had the completely WRONG idea about dating?

Let’s go over some of the most common mistakes guys make when “dating” a girl…

Mistake #1: Dates are only to make a great impression.

Often men might feel like they have something to prove while on a date, to get the woman to like them. They seem to think that taking a woman to some fancy and memorable place and bragging about their accomplishments makes them seem important.

Mistake #2: Buying your way into the heart of a woman.

This is not true and is a very bad idea, since many women are not concerned about the amount of money you spend on a date. There is no amount of money or any expensive item you can buy that will get a woman interested in you if there is no mutual attraction.

Mistake #3: Activities Mean Nothing!

Just the sheer act of going out to places with somebody doesn’t mean as much as you think it does. If you do the typical “dinner and a movie” thing, that won’t necessarily get the girl to like you. Spending time together does not always equate to romantic interest.

Mistake #4: Men become boring!

If there are no sparks of chemistry, the date is a dud, this can happen, when men get nervous on their dates. Most often, these men continually talk about ordinary subjects while they show little to none of their sparkling personality. They just go through the motions with hopes of not messing up their date.

What does dating a woman mean?

The answer is simple; dating is a means of encouraging and building comfort, attraction and emotional connections.

See, it doesn’t matter where you go, or how much money you spend. All that matters is how you’re able to connect to the woman you’re with and what you can make her feel about you.

You will notice that this is the major factor in the difference of going on cheap dates while truly romancing a woman and that of spending a great deal of money and getting nowhere fast.

Your entire focus while dating a girl should be “how can I become more emotionally connected to this girl?”

Talk about your shared interests. Talk about your passions. Try and figure out what her hopes and dreams are.

Learn to rephrase your questions, rather than wanting to know where she works, ask her some interesting and fun questions, such as If you could do anything you wish, what would you wish to do?

Above all, you should just enjoy yourself!

You might want to tell her a joke, even if it is not the best, just so you can both enjoy a good chuckle. Take care to guide the conversation towards the things she finds interesting, this helps you find out who she is. Be curious.

Above all, do not be to shy to bring up romance.

Too many guys are afraid to even broach the topic of sex while on a date. But you have to build the sexual tension to intensify the attraction.

Be a little savvy by flirting and joking with her, as this will encourage and build the attraction she has for you and then you can move on to the next level of your relationship.

If this sounds like you, then I have news for you: You are actually TRAINING yourself to NOT approach women! You’re giving yourself reasons to give into your fears and not take any action.

In other words: You’re practicing FAILURE.

All these fears stem from poor experiences you may have had when you were young (junior high or middle school age) or you picked them off of television or movies and think they could actually apply to your real life.

But here’s some good news – even if you weren’t a lucky “early bloomer,” you are still able to take control of any fear you may have about meeting women. Just because you didn’t have early success, doesn’t mean you can’t still be extremely successful with the ladies!

You need to examine and change your current beliefs and attitudes that are currently holding you back from having real success with women, and re-learn what you “think” you know about how to meet women and start training yourself to meet them the RIGHT WAY.

But that’s difficult for most guys to do. It’s no problem to say you want to learn how to meet women easily, but it’s doing the work that’s the hardest part. You need to want it badly enough!

Do you want to be the kind of guy who let’s every opportunity with women pass him by because he’s too scared to take it?

When an opportunity with an attractive lady presents itself, take it! Say something to her, even if you don’t know what you should say. Just start talking.

Ask her for directions. Ask for her opinion on something. Playfully tease her about something she’s wearing or something she’s doing.

Quickly settle on the what to say – don’t worry about the words you’re going to use – and go over there and talk to her. Don’t let more than three seconds pass by. Make the decision to act and follow through. (It will help you in the future if you memorize some canned material that matches your personality.)

Don’t try and measure success based on if you got her phone number or a date. Just the simple act of approaching a woman and talking to her makes you a winner, because you did something that 80% of the other men out there wouldn’t have done! And the more you can do that, the greater your chances of meeting that one special woman.
